- Bank statements and financial documents. If you provide bank statements, tax documents, or similar records to support an application, we collect and retain them for underwriting purposes.
- Device and log data. Our hosting and security providers automatically log standard technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring URLs, for security and site-performance purposes.
- Cookies. This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our only analytics tool is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not use any client-side state or persistent identifiers to track visitors across sites.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Evaluate your eligibility for financing and, where applicable, present your file to funding partners for offers.
- Communicate with you about your application, your account, or a message you sent us, by phone, text, and email.
- Operate, secure, and improve this website.
- Comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, and enforce our agreements.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Funding partners. To obtain financing offers on your behalf, we may share your application and supporting documents with third-party funding partners, banks, or funding sources for the purpose of underwriting and presenting offers.
- Service providers. We use service providers to operate this site and deliver communications, including hosting and security infrastructure (Cloudflare) and email delivery services. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services for us.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AXIS, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. If AXIS is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
4. Retention
We retain application and financial information for as long as needed to service your application or funding relationship, to comply with legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, and to resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
5. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices
- Marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails or texts at any time using the unsubscribe link or by replying STOP, without affecting service-related communications about an active application or account.
- Access and deletion requests. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us as described in Section 10, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations.
7. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you certain rights over personal information, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by CCPA/CPRA). Information collected in the context of a business-to-business or commercial-financing relationship, or in your capacity as a business owner or representative applying on behalf of a business, may be treated differently under California law than information collected from you as a consumer, and certain CCPA/CPRA provisions may not apply to that information. 8. TCPA consent
By submitting an application or contact form, providing your phone number, and clicking submit, you expressly consent to receive calls and text messages from AXIS Capital and its funding partners, including calls made using an automatic telephone dialing system or artificial or prerecorded voice, at the number provided, for purposes related to your inquiry or application. Consent is not a condition of obtaining financing. Message and data rates may apply. You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text or telling a representative to stop calling.
9. Children's privacy
This website and our products are directed to businesses and business owners, not to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
