What you can finance
Built for working equipment.
If it runs the business and has resale value, it is usually financeable.
Trucks & trailers
Sleepers, day cabs, reefers, dry vans and flatbeds, new or used.
Kitchen & restaurant lines
Ranges, walk-ins, hoods, fryers and full build-out packages.
Construction & heavy equipment
Excavators, skid steers, generators and other job-site machinery.
Medical & dental
Diagnostic, imaging and chairside equipment for a growing practice.
Retail fixtures & POS
Shelving, displays, point-of-sale systems and store build-outs.
Warehouse & fulfillment
Racking, forklifts, conveyors and pack stations.
How it works
Quote to delivery in three steps.
One quote, one application, and the vendor gets paid directly.
- 01
Get a quote or invoice
Bring pricing from any vendor, dealer or private seller for the equipment you want to buy.
- 02
Apply with the quote
Share the quote along with basic business financials and time in business. Decisions typically come back the same or next business day.
- 03
We fund the vendor, you take delivery
AXIS pays the vendor directly. You take delivery of the equipment and start making fixed monthly payments.
The math
An illustrative example.
A simplified example on a common deal size, to show how the payment and collateral work.
| Detail | Example |
|---|---|
| Equipment | $85,000 used truck |
| Term | 60 months |
| Estimated fixed monthly payment | Roughly $1,550 to $1,800 per month, illustrative only |
| What secures the deal | The truck itself is the collateral |
| Down payment | Often $0 to a small percentage, based on approval |
This is an illustrative example only, not an offer or a quote. Actual payment amounts depend on the equipment, term, down payment and approval, and are quoted per offer.
Compare your options
Financing vs. leasing vs. paying cash.
The equipment does the same job either way. The difference is who owns it at the end and how the cost hits your books.
| Structure | Who owns it | Upfront cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Equipment financing | You, once the balance is paid | Often $0 to a small down payment | Keeping the asset long-term while preserving cash |
| Leasing | The leasing company, unless you buy it out | Typically low or no down payment | Equipment that gets upgraded often |
| Paying cash | You, immediately | The full purchase price | Businesses that would rather not carry a payment |
Section 179 tax advantages
Qualifying equipment financed and placed in service this year may be eligible for a Section 179 deduction, letting a business write off the full purchase price up front instead of depreciating it over several years. This can lower the effective, after-tax cost of financing new or used equipment.
Consult a tax professional; eligibility and limits change annually.
Who qualifies
What it takes to get approved.
- 580+ personal credit score
- 6+ months in business
- An equipment quote or invoice from a vendor
- New or used equipment, typically up to 10 years old for trucks
Industries
Common in the fleets and shops we fund.
Every one of these runs on equipment that has to work today, not next quarter.
Straight answers
Equipment financing questions.
Can I finance both new and used equipment?
Yes. Most equipment qualifies whether it is new from a dealer or used, typically up to about 10 years old for trucks and similar age limits for other equipment types, subject to inspection and valuation.
Can I finance 100% of the purchase price?
Often, yes. Many approvals cover up to 100% of the equipment cost including tax, title and delivery. The exact amount financed depends on the equipment, the vendor quote and your approval.
Do I need to make a down payment?
Not always. Some approvals require a small down payment, typically 0 to 20%, depending on the equipment type, its age and your business profile. This is confirmed in your offer, not guaranteed in advance.
Can I finance equipment bought from a private seller, not a dealer?
Private-party and individual seller sales can often be financed, subject to a valid bill of sale, a lien search and an equipment inspection or appraisal.
Who holds the title or lien on the equipment?
The equipment itself secures the financing. AXIS or the funding partner places a lien on the title until the balance is paid in full, at which point the lien is released.
Can I pay off the equipment financing early?
Most structures allow early payoff. Whether there is a prepayment fee or an interest savings depends on the specific offer, so ask your advisor to confirm before you sign.
Put the equipment to work before you pay for it.
Two-minute application. Same-day decision. Funding in as little as 24 hours.
Soft credit pull. No obligation. No impact to your score.
